Hip # 37 of the Fasig Tipton Midlantic Preferred 2yo in Training Sale, 2006 this son of King Cugat worked 1/8th in 10/4, galloping out in 22/2. The horse worked impressively particularly with his grass pedigree.

King made his debut, on 11/14/06, going 5 1/2 at Penn National. He was green as could be. He got going late rallying strong to get 4th.

On December 2nd, in his second start, King broke his maiden by 12 lengths in MSW company at Mountaineer Park going 1 mile.
