Native Mandate was claimed on 12/09/2009 at Penn National. "Manny" earned a lifetime best Beyer of 77 in his second start for Renpher Stable, missing by 1/2 length! In his first start shipping in from Woodbine, the good looking grey gelding arrived at the paddock ready to run. Renpher Stable won a three way shake claiming the popular race horse. He sat off the pace, ran hard late finishing 4th, a nose off second. The winner won easy, but the next three hit the wire together with Native Mandate rallying fastest of all. He comes to us with the N3L, non winners of three lifetime condition intact.
