Over There

Claimed by Renpher Stable on August 5th, 2005, Over There brought along 10 wins, 6 seconds and 4 thirds in 43 lifetime starts. We felt a hard knocking horse like this, coupled with Stickler's care will prove to be a profitable and enjoyable endeavor.

On September 24th, 2005, OT made his second start for Renpher Stable. It was the 100th lifetime start for us. He set the pace with a quick 21/3 first quarter managing to hold on for the centenial win.

November 10th, OT was sitting 4th behind a wall of horses heading for home. Carlos Nieto saw an opening. OT shot through to win going away in 51/2!

In his next start, OT beat a strong Starter Allowance field going away!

10/01/06 Over There had to be put down after damaging his right front ankle during the race today. As usual, OT was in stalking position, trying like mad. He was making his move when the injury occurred. Stickler met him on the track. He was lying on the ground and could not be saved. I can honestly say that I loved this horse. He had tremendous heart. I will be sick about this for days. I ask you all to please take a moment to read The Horse's Prayer with meaning, in honor of Over There. He was a pleasure to be with around the barn. All he lived for was to race. He gave it his all.
