Sun Bull Son was claimed at Presque Isle Downs on Sept 06, 2007. Renpher won a two way "shake" to acquire him.

"Bull" had a bad trip, as noted in the DRF chart of the race. Also, he did not take to the poly track. We claimed him off of his Poly debut.

"Bull" had his A1X condition intact.

He made his Renpher debut by turning in a solid performance running second in Allowance company. Not bad for a $5k claim!

We learned more and more about Bull each day. His "one run" style looked best suited to go 4 1/2 at Charles Town. On 01/16/08 he proved us right. He sat off the pace, of a very competitive field, eventually drawing clear to win going away. The $9,000 share of the purse vaulted Bull's profitability.
