In her last three starts, Touch Lightly has shown her speed but was unable to last. We decided to change venue. TL is going to Tampa Bay Downs under the watchful eye of Myra Mora.

Touch Lightly is an explosive 3 year old filly. She turned in 3 performances in Maiden Special Weights company at Calder.

Her third start was against a tremendous mainden field. In this race, she dashed to the lead, was beaten by better horses and finished 4th. The winner of this race, Heavenly Miss, went on to run 3rd against the boys in an Allowance race. From there, she was entered in a $100,000 stake race for two year old fillies. SHe was checked, swung five wide, and went on to win! Bella Lauren, who was third in Touch Lightly's race, went on to break her maiden next time out. She is scheduled to run in a stakes race also.

Touch Lightly was dropped into a Maiden Claiming race for $25,000 at Calder. She was coming back on 6 days rest. From the 7 post, she cleared the field and took the lead through the stretch, beaten a half length for second. The rest of the field was 6 plus lengths behind her.

In her ninth attempt, Touch Lightly won soundly by 5 3/4 lengths.
